is what you can do - Use a Sterilizer! If
you put your mail thru a sterilization process, the actual letters would
remain mostly intact, good as new. Any printed material will be mostly
unaffected by the sterilization. You should note, however, that handwritten
letters in pen or marker may become slightly smudged. Any form of bacteria - not just the Anthrax - which may be in the letter you receive, will most likely be killed, as long as the simple sterilization cycle is run correctly. Here is the steam sterilizer that will work for you:
