We join peoples of both nations, with different backgrounds, from all walks of life --- teaching them to live, speak, and experience life as an American live.

The students in our program are not simply taught to speak English. They are taught how to live it!

They are taught to communicate in the way that Americans can understand them. Our students are uniquely groomed with an American perspective giving them the knowledge of "how to walk the walk not just talk the talk."

The Megumi Method

The fluent understanding of American English can best be achieved with our special "Hands on Training" and in a personal environment. We called this training The Megumi Method.

The Megumi method is simply teaching American English by example, not just using the five senses (eyes, ears, nose, touch, and thought) in a classroom setting, but America itself.

Megumi Hayashi, the director of the US Japan Culture Exchange Program and founder of JapaneseEnglishTeacher.com, developed, and organized this method in the United States surrounded and engulfed in an only English speaking environment.  This is where the five senses come alive with all the thoughts, sights, smell, and feel of American English which is up front and personal, not just in a classroom.

This Hands on Training living within the culture is the Megumi Method.

Megumi Hayashi studied and trained by experiencing English firsthand within that cultured environment, in a place where speaking English and communicating with understanding was crucial to her survival in America.

Our students will live in an American city within an American complex, such as a house or an apartment. They will learn to communicate with Americans, cook American meals, watch American movies (WITHOUT sub-titles!!), tour famous American sights and experience the American culture.

Our program even gives an optional Driver License test program where our instructors teach you how to pass the written and US driver's test. This provides you with a US Driver's  License and Identification. This will give you a great opportunity and advantage, so you can legally drive in America, where you can go anywhere you want to travel and visit without waiting for expensive tour guides and buses. This is a significantly added bonus and privilege of possessing an American Identification and Driver's License, which is recognized worldwide. Also in most countries, with this license and identification you don’t need an international license from your country.

Living in the cultural environment is Megumi's method, and it works!!
